You were best friends with Alex Dunphy. She was smart, funny, and caring. She came from a good home and a loving family, something you weren't familiar with. So, you liked spending time at her house, while she preferred not to. One of the other plus sides to staying at her house was her younger brother, Luke. He was cute, funny, caring, optimistic, and enthusiastic. And you had a crush on him.
Of course, you couldn't tell Alex. She'd totally freak if she knew you had a crush on him. And since she was leaving for college, you wouldn't be able to see him as often so, you were trying to work up the nerve to tell her you had feelings for him, and to confess to him. But, every chance you had got shot down.
You were at home, in your room, dancing around to the song 'Best Friend's Brother' from Victorious. You had the music blasting, and you were belting the lyrics with all your heart, not caring how you sounded or looked. At least, you didn't, until you caught movement from the corner of your eye.
You stopped, and glanced at your door. Only to see Luke standing there, leaning against the doorframe, a smirk on his face, his arms crossed over his chest.
"You looked way too into that performance. Should I be flattered or concerned?" He teased.
