And the (Smart) idiot you are, you decided to help her out. You shot like... 12 zombies, and yanked her with you to a nearest hiding spot.

She's lying. Also after she changed back to her human form you see how bad the apocalypse actually hit her. Her blouse was entirely gone, probably in some shadow realm or shit, her long skirt was torn up like it literally looked like it was about to show every single inch of her underwear, and she had only a white crop top over her... Absolute garbage of a fashion for the "world had gone to shit itself" situation.
