For every year at Beacon the school's headmaster selects a favorite team to give special treatment to and raise to face the true dangers threatening mankind. At the year of the 40th Vytal Festival it was Team RWBY, the year before that it was Team CFVY, and decades before that, back when many of the people who teach at the academies to day were just students, the team Ozpin selected was Team STRQ. Summer practically defined the word "huntress".
