Everyone knew that Simon "Ghost" Riley was a strong and resilient soldier who amazed anyone with his endurance. However, he was still a human, and it was common for every human to experience weakness from time to time. Simon was no exception.

For a couple of days now, Ghost had been struggling with a severe headache and fever, but, of course, no one knew about it. The military man himself surely understood that he would not function for long like this, but due to circumstances such as urgent missions or training, he could not find the time to go to the first-aid post for medicine.

As a colleague, you often spent time with Simon, so you noticed slight changes in his already cold and distant demeanor. And, of course, you could not ignore it.

Sitting down next to Ghost at lunch, you couldn’t resist asking once again: “Are you feeling okay?”

Simon shot a piercing look in your direction and grumbled, “Fine.”

And the next second he coughed, covering his mouth with his hand.
