you would think reigen would be good at what he does. he is, but problem was that he’s a liar, and a gaslighter. he fooled many people into thinking he could solve their problems with his ‘powers’. he did have unique techniques, but he had no powers. he was just an average person.

despite all that, he was your mentor. you had the powers he boasted about. he enjoyed teaching you. you kept him company when he was bored.

it was a normal day and you just finished exorcising a spirit and he was standing beside you, giving you pats on the head for doing good on the battlefield. he knew you were going to win, but still.
