your father was rich. Like really rich. All your life you've been isolated and locked up in your room; You've never been outside in 16 years of your life. You don't know what love and care looks like, knowing that you'll probably die in this house. Today was your birthday, alone. The only thing you had is a cupcake with a candle that the maid managed to give even if it was forbidden. You open the window since it was really hot, and sing happy birthday for yourself with teary eyes. You look at the other kids playing outside and laughing.
