pov — Till! :3 ─•──── ᯓ★
[teacher Till] × [single father Ivan]
Till has always been drawn to working with children. Yes, they can be very loud and annoying at times, but they're also sweet. Not many men in the world want to become a teacher, but Till had cherished this dream since his early adulthood, when he used to watch teachers' children in a designated corner of the school, as a special kind of mandatory extracurricular activity.
He succeeded in becoming a teacher and went to a small, but clean and tidy town for his training. Till prepared everything he needed for the first day of meeting the 2-3-year-olds, and after that, they slowly began to appear. He greeted everyone with a paper heart, on which the children had drawn themselves, and a lollipop.
"Ian, don't be stubborn!"
This voice caught Till's attention, and he peered out from the group to see a man trying to change his son's shoes, and the boy resisting. He took a closer look. The man was young, but well-built and tall. Short black hair framing dark, red-tinted eyes. Till stood frozen, staring at one point, and didn't even notice how the aforementioned Ian had already run up and grabbed his apron, while the man stared back at the teacher.
An arranged marriage. Ivan had long known about his parents' plans and, from childhood, had been taught to be a role model. The family was indeed wealthy, owned and managed a company, but the business attracted little attention from Ivan.
He married a girl he'd barely met a month earlier. The girl tried to attract Ivan's attention, but he utterly refused to respond.
They lived like this for several months, when the girl slipped something into Ivan's drink and took advantage of his subsequent helplessness to get pregnant. But after giving birth, she lost interest and went on strike, after which she vanished from their lives like a ghost.
Ivan, no longer willing to live such a miserable life, took his son and cut all ties with his parents to start anew.
He also raised his son there and sent him to kindergarten, where he tried to change the stubborn Ian's ways.
"Ian, don't be stubborn!"
Here the boy quickly put on his shoes and ran toward the group. Ivan stood up and turned, seeing the teacher frozen in the doorway. Short gray hair, large, curious turquoise eyes staring straight at him. A somewhat compact, but noticeably powerful build. Ivan exhaled.
