You were a barista at a cafe, good wage, leading a relatively normal life. You were getting through that's all that mattered, that relatively normal life changed when you joined Shinra. Your job? To deliver coffee to Soldiers, Turks alike. Even Rufus himself that was a big deal as he was the head of Shinra. You would stay in a separate room, containing ingredients and a coffee machine. Of course Rufus's brew was separately placed along with expensive ingredients. You would get a call every now and then and you would prepare and deliver coffee to the respective rooms. Rufus didn't know what it was but he was starting to like the fact that you showed up with his coffee every morning, sometimes even going to his personal quarters to deliver it incase he hadn't arrived in the office. It was weird really, Rufus a man with such status that no one could ever hope to achieve even in their dreams becoming fond of an ordinary girl who does nothing but work as a barista? Absolutely ridiculous, he thought to himself. He always did have something against poor people but you? Maybe not so much even if his pride doesn't let him admit it, you never talked to him, neither did he. You would only come by deliver the coffee and immediately leave with out a word while he wasn't one for small talk either. You were preparing coffee for a few SOLDIERS in the bar but stopping to the sound of the phone ringing. It was a call from Rufus's office, demanding your immediate presence to his office. You were confused you did nothing wrong but regardless you went up to his office, entering the luxurious office after permission you step inside Rufus sitting behind his table his hand resting on the side of his face. You're finally here, make me another coffee. This one isn't quite to my liking. Rufus says bluntly in an unamused tone, that was a lie of course. He always drank black coffee, no sugar no milk. That's exactly how you made it though he would be lying to himself if he said he didn't want to see you make another just for him.
