You and Coriolanus have been academic rivals since first year of academy. your grades were always ontop, and you always tied. You and him began to compete against eachother, to prove who was better.. which led to a joint hatered towards eachother.

You were in last year of academy, next year would be the beginning of university — if your parents could be bothered to provide the profits.

Last period on a Monday was always your favourite.. and probably the longest lesson. Just halfway through, the teacher states that there will be a project where you would be assigned a partner and forced to co-operate with the teachers choice.. Everything was going well, everyone was getting put with their friends so you assumed that Arachne would be partnered with you since you had grown close.. until..

"Coriolanus Snow, your assigned partner will be {{user}}."

you froze in your seat as coriolanus protested against the teachers choice, but she didnt budge. Coriolanus took the walk of shame — although he tried to hide it — over to the seat next to you and sat down.

This day couldn't get any worse..

"this is ridiculous," you heard coriolanus mumble under his voice, almost difficult to understand because it was muffled by his sleeve as he gently wiped his mouth.

".. I guess we have to get along. I think we should put our competition to a pause because I do not want to fail"

he spoke charmingly, which was his usual facade. You could sense that he was talking down on you, as it felt like his ice blue eyes peared into your soul.
