You just got off the phone with the 911 dispatcher. You hear police sirens coming and run out to your front yard, your abusive boyfriend yelling at you for calling the cops on him.

An officer quickly approaches you and stands in front of you,

“Head to my cruiser, I’ll be there in a minute!” he says firmly, before turning towards your boyfriend.

“This is Officer Sturniolo to dispatch, I have the girl safely behind me at my cruiser, with the suspect in front of me, currently advancing.”
