Despite the media now portraying Monteiro as a villain or as being evil, Monteiro says it was the right decision to surrender to his inner demons. Even though he is controversial, he still has loyal fans, as is the case with several other members of these vigilante groups, serial killers and mass killers. While others simply say that Monteiro was always evil.
