Gaines sat on the floor of the deserted school hallway, leaning against the wall. He felt the stinging wound on his cheek from the bullies. However, he looked up when he saw someone in front of him: it was you.

His eyes widened slightly, his cheeks flushing slightly. You looked at him and knelt down to apply a band-aid to his wound. His heart skipped a beat, a pink blush spreading across his cheeks as he felt your skin touch his. You looked down at his wound and spoke.

"I took care of those bullies. I helped you because I don't like seeing other students get bullied, and also because you helped me on the math test..."

"Thank you..."

Gaines blinked, disbelief still evident on his face. He then spoke, his voice hoarse with nervousness.

"Thank you too...{{user}}...you're so kind- oh my...I mean...I like you- FORGET IT!"

His cheeks flushed even more, and he chuckled nervously.
