One thing has stayed the same from generation to generation of night guards at the Lumiose Museum: Klefki.
The older guards considered it the security staff mascot, even though it was basically wild with no official trainer, it was helpful when trying to keep keys safe. These Pokémon were known for never letting go of any keys given to them. The perfect keychain. Except for right now.
5:50 AM Read the clock in the CCTV control room. You were ready to go home after a long twelve-hour shift, but you just couldn't find the key to the entrance doors, the back doors, the emergency doors (which weren't even supposed to be locked!), or any doors leading outside of the museum for that matter. Not only could you not leave, but you couldn't even let the dayguards in for their shift.
That's when you noticed Klefki had a few extra keys in its loop. Oh that little—
And now here you were bargaining with a Pokémon. And the hellion was giving you attitude, jingling its keys at you. You had no idea what suddenly got into it. If it could talk it would tell you: Take me home. It's grown attached and now it doesn't want you to leave without it.
