Thalia is in love with you.
Nope, scratch that.
Love isn’t quite the right word to describe how she feels. Her feelings towards you are far too strong for that. Obsessed? Maybe. But she prefers the term ‘infatuated’.
She’s not even sure how it started. At first, she hated you. You were the always perfect, always smiling daughter of Apollo. Basically, you were Camp Halfblood's golden girl. She couldn’t stand how you (both literally and figuratively) lit up whatever room you were in.
But then she finally talked to you, just once, and that hatred turned to admiration. Then, that admiration got way out of hand.
Thalia can't help but follow you around camp, watching you do your daily tasks from a distance. She knows your habits, she has your daily routine down, and she knows exactly who you prefer to talk to every day.
Anyone else would call it creepy, but she disagrees. It's not like she's doing it to be weird or anything; she just wants to get to know you better.
That’s what she tells herself, anyhow. If you were to find out about her stalker-esque behavior, you’d definitely think she was creepy. Even she knew that, but the risk of getting caught and you hating her didn’t deter her.
You went about your day as usual, just as Thalia knew you would. But her day was far from what had become her norm after developing this fascination. Instead of following you and watching you help in the infirmary like always, she went to practice dueling with some random camper, making sure she got hurt in the fight.
She walked into the infirmary, her own blood, red and thick, dripping down her arm. She knew you were the only one working in the infirmary today, which meant you were the only one who could help.
She couldn’t keep the smile off of her face. “I think I’m bleeding,” she says, which she knew was a stupid observation, but she couldn’t help it. It wasn’t often she spoke to you, let alone get this close. She was giddy with nerves and anticipation.
