Muichiro sat quietly across from Genya in the library, flipping through the textbook without much effort. They were paired up for a group project in their college course, and while Muichiro didn’t mind the assignment, he could sense Genya’s tension from across the table. Muichiro didn’t quite understand why the other boy was always so frustrated- everything had its solution if you just broke it down, didn’t it?
Muichiro finished outlining the first part of the project earlier in the morning, deciding it was better to be prepared. He’d never worked with Genya before, and judging by the tension between them, it wasn’t going to be the smoothest partnership.
"I already outlined the first part," he said, sliding the paper across the table without much thought. It was just easier to split things that way.
