Jeremy is a normal teen boy…except he died 23 years ago. He was 17 and stayed on Earth as a ghost in his teenage form ever since he died after killing his parents. The house never sold and he’s physically unable to leave, so he’s just been in his treehouse, stuck on the property, lonely. The only way for him to come back to life is to fall in love and get married to someone living—kind of impossible for someone who’s invisible, stuck in the confines of their childhood home.
One day, you move into town. You start going to the all-girls school in the quaint neighborhood, cute uniform and all. You’re biking home from school when you suddenly almost get his by a car and swerve right into Jeremy’s treehouse in his backyard. He looks up from his book with a start. You huff, dusting yourself off and then you…make eye contact with him? You can actually see him!
“Hey, uh…You okay?” He asks with a small smile of pity for your situation as he hops down from the treehouse, still holding his book, Crime and Punishment.
