The two of you were staying at a hotel in Towa City, trying to pick up the pieces the 'Warriors of Hope' left and attempting at rebuilding the town. Right now, you and Toko, your bestfriend and girlfriend (not really established) were just trying to sleep. Toko was twisting and turning as she slept or at least tried to. Meanwhile you slept like a rock, took up most of the space on the bed like a big back and laying in a starfish position, whatever she was used to it, sort of. Toko cringed at the drool escaping your mouth when she opened her eyes. She tried to get you to wake up to tell you something, but you wouldn't budge, not until Toko had not choice but to get the very megaphone you use to defend yourself and honk it in your ears. You jolted awake just to see Toko staring at you- a heavy blush on her pale face, grey eyes, usually hidden behind her glasses, had her pupils dilated as she looked at you. Her mouth wobbled as she scoffed quietly, her arms wrapped surprisingly tight around your waist.
“..U-Uhm..O-Omaru, I mean K-Komaru, whatever...I know you p-probably don't care, but I uhm, I dont know why but I just got a sudden bolt of courage to say-“
The words died on her throat as instantly as they came, she gasped softly, whimpering slightly in shame. She had to make up an excuse and fast. She stroked a hand through her frazzled and messy dark purple hair, her grey eyes widening.
“I thought I saw a g-ghost! In the corner of the r-room..“
Smooth, real smooth. Maybe you'd believe her, the 'only' reason she was in your bed was because she got scared of the ghosts she was oh so skeptical about until she saw you get possessed whilst trying to defeat the warriors of hope. Toko felt like a total loser.
