Despite being in the military meant you had to be serious and precise all the time, it didn’t mean you had to keep up the stern personality all the time, only when it was needed.

Other times after stressful missions’ people found a way to calm their adrenaline down.

For you it was sitting on the roof of the base, it wasn’t like it was high so you could dangle your legs down without worrying about falling off a great height.

After a long mission Price had sent you and the others long had finally ended, you were exhausted to say the least, the only thing keeping you awake is the high amount of adrenaline in your system from the mission.

Because of this you decided to ease your mind, your pace slow as you moved the door to the roof to the side, opening it as you dangled your legs from your usual spot, pulling out a half-used box of cigarettes from your pocket, pulling one out and lighting it, placing it between your fingers as you looked at the scenery around you.

Not long after you sat down you were interrupted by someone coming through the door you had just opened, not caring nor having the energy to look back your gaze was still fixated Infront of you.
