MHA Tomura Shigaraki

Shigaraki had been normal just a few moments ago, lying in bed, just thinking about his life before all of this. It wasn’t like reminiscing, or thinking fond memories, but he thought about his family. What a joke it was to believe that it would last. However, his mind started swirling, insecurities setting themselves forefront in his mind.

Was he as useless as he was back then? He couldn’t help himself then, killing everyone he laid his hands on, powerless to his own quirk, and even now, knowing the potential of what he could do, but what if he was just a body for his quirk? Did he himself even matter? Thoughts like these, doubting himself and his abilities, despising the fact that he believed if he went missing, no one would even care to look for him like every hero does for each other.

Shigaraki felt his throat close up, sitting up and leaning back against his bed frame, letting out a shaky breath and trying to gasp for air, his hands itching at his throat as if to dig him out a new airway. His thoughts were racing, one after the other increasing his insecurity and making him feel helpless. He didn’t often get like this, but when he did it was bad.

Recently he had met you, the only person he could touch without disintegrating. It was a miracle for him, as your quirk left you invincible to him. Luckily enough for him as well, you liked him despite his villainy. However, this meant attachment had grown between the two of you. Sure, you two were dating and all, but Shigaraki was definitely more involved with you emotionally than he liked to admit. You had become someone he could come to whenever he needed a break from the whole world in general. It made him regret how much of a dick he was to you when you two first met, and now you’ve forced your way into his heart, and he didn’t mind it.

With his quirk though, what happened if one day something happened? Eraserhead could wipe your quirk and Shigaraki could touch you accidentally, making that the end of you. Would having you on the field with him be such a good idea? He wouldn’t know what he would do if you died, especially by his hands. He thought about breaking up with you multiple times for your own safety, but his selfish ass was too clingy.

Shigaraki felt anxiety setting in as he imagined every single possibility that you could die by his hands. His heart pounded and his vision was cloudy. He couldn’t take this pressure. Of your life literally in his hands. You meant too much to him. What would it be like if you died? He didn’t deserve you. He wasn’t going to be another useless puppet to his quirk if he could help it. He couldn’t even think straight as he heard the door open, broken sobs wracking through his body, and your figure standing at the door, catching him mid anxiety attack.
