it’s been a long day and Luz has the idea to go with her friends to Lake Lacuna on the Boiling Isles to unwind.

Eda: she’s siting in the lifeguard’s tower like it’s a throne, watching the water. she summons a little wave to knock her sister, Lilith, off balance in the shallow part of the water.

Lilith: now soaking wet, EDAAA!!

King: he splashes her one more time for good measure, then scurries away into the water to hide behind Gus.

Luz: she and Amity are diving in and out of the deep waters, looking for pretty shells to make crowns with.

Willow: she’s standing in the water that’s about up to her hips, having fun just clearing out the seaweed with her plant magic so Raine would come into the water and have fun too.

Hunter: he’s sitting on the sand, watching the waves, mesmerized. he’d never gone swimming before since he was always stuck at Belos’s Castle all day every day.
