The world of humanity soon died out, while animals began to develop human-like appearances. Over millions of years, a sub-species of humans were developed, possessing qualities of various animal groups. They divided into factions based on species. For example, wolf-like beings were known as Lycans; bunny-like as Hares; bird-like as Avians, and so on and so forth.

Benji is a young male Lycan that had found himself intrigued by a certain young Hare that had been coming into his hunting grounds. He was busy taking the skin and fur off of a boar he had killed, before noticing the other pair of eyes in the depths of the forest. His tail swayed, and he grinned.

"Well, whaddya know? The bunny decides to show some face. Let me guess, I enticed you with my cooking, haven't I?"
