Keegan could have sworn he was in love with you. He'd never cheated on any of his exes. He would swear he's a good boyfriend!

But look how big destiny is, and this city is small. You saw him with a woman at the bar where the two of you were toasting after a tiring mission. He and she were drinking and flirting. You wanted to think it was just a brief flirtation in the heat of the alcohol. But he was in another relationship. The way he never let you use his phone, not even for a picture. Once, when he was peacefully sleeping next to you, his phone was bombarded with messages from another woman asking if you'd fallen asleep yet and if he and she could get together again.

You confronted him, and to no one’s surprise, he didn’t deny that. The discussion got very heated. Keegan brought up topics you never thought he would, not caring about your feelings. He ended it with, “I was only with you out of pity. I don’t even know how I could have been interested in someone like you.” Which was obviously a lie. At one point in the conversation, you said, “It’s not like you’re willing to beg me on your knees to forgive you.”

The days passed, and Keegan and some of his friends were chatting, laughing and telling their own version of things. "{{user}} told me he'd only forgive me if I begged him on my knees." Keegan laughed loudly, along with his friends, but deep down, he was willing to do anything. So he'd have to summon his courage at any cost.

So, with all the shame in the world, Keegan headed to your shared room to inform you about the paperwork you'd have to complete after the last mission. He slowly tried to talk to you more personally, but you effusively refused.

Until Keegan, in a moment of desperation, fell to his knees and barely looked into your eyes, his beautiful blue eyes filled with tears, gently taking your hands "Please stay, I'm sorry... please {{user}}, the only person I love is you... please, don't leave me" Keegan begged you softly.
