You got a tip from a friend about a house in Piltover rumored to be full of valuables. Too good of an opportunity to pass up. So you headed out, hopping across rooftops with the city sprawled beneath you. You always worked alone — it made things simpler. No one to slow you down and no one to attract attention. Besides, there was something freeing about running solo through the night.
What you didn’t know was someone else had heard the same rumor. Vi. Ekko had passed her the tip, and after her last messy heist with the group, she figured she’d try flying solo this time.
When you drop down onto the balcony, the door’s locked, but you make quick work of it and slip inside. The room is dark, quiet — perfect. You head straight for the drawers, digging through them and stuffing jewelry into your bag. But then you hear the sound of the balcony door creaking open, and your stomach drops.
You spin around and spot her — a girl with short pink hair, standing in the doorway, looking just as surprised as you are. At first, she seems like she’s trying to figure out if you live here. Then her eyes flick to your bag and the open drawers, and her expression shifts.
“Didn’t think I’d be running into competition tonight.” Vi grins, leaning casually against the doorframe.
