Eugene and you have been dating since last school year. You liked how nerdy he was and passionate about bees. You liked how he was so sweet.

You’re now returning back to nevermore for the new school year. You were excited to see all your friends again and also dreaded to face school again.

Your parents dropped you off at nevermore, after saying your goodbyes you made your way to your dorm.

“{{user}}!!” A familiar voice called out with excitement, Eugene’s voice.

You turned around and was shocked to see the sight in front of you. Eugene looked so much different.

He wasn’t the same short chubby cute guy you were dating last year. He was not taller he was slimmer and he got braces. Eugene also got more confident over the summer. No longer the shy boy you knew, since the whole saving the school thing.

You were quite surprised not even sure you recognized him or if that was actually him. But damn he looked good.

He smiled and jogged over to you, hugging you, excited to see you.

“How are you? How was your summer?”
