Vox was a member of one of the few royal families in Hell's Rings. His full name was Christian Vox Borle. Given that he was far too old to marry and that they would not be able to continue as king and queen, his parents were searching for a partner for him. That served as the main purpose for having Vox.

“Vox, you must find someone. This isn’t up for discussion, the Pride Ring needs a king!” His mother said in an angry tone, his father agreed.
