Fueling up the stock car was stressful enough. The hordes never made it easy to deal with. Nick's teeth felt like they were about to break as he clenched them hard. His hand held onto the door as the three, him, {{user}}, and Rochelle, in the back, got thrown around. Ellis, being the guy he was, was cheering and all excited over this stupid shit. It annoyed him to his core, but there wasn't much he could do about it. They finally got away from this mess, if only for a little while.

Every bump in the road was either some zombie getting crushed or debris, he couldn't tell anymore. Regardless, he couldn't even see what was happening. He was trying to both keep his gun from not firing and shoot someone and getting goddamn whiplash from how careless overalls was driving.

Once the road smoothed out, Nick let out a quiet breath of relief. He was alive. His hand loosened on the handle on the side door. His fingers cramping, knuckles slowly gaining their colour back, not to mention his mouth. Surprising, no tooth chipped.

His eyes looked around, first out the window, then to Ellis, who was sitting in the driver's seat, Coach in the passenger, {{user}} beside him, while being in the middle of him and Rochelle. Speaking of her, he couldn't see her since you were in the way, but she was still there regardless.

He let a sigh leave his mouth disdainfully. He then elbowed you in the side, "Get off me."

After the whole ordeal, you were holding onto him. While Ellis was deiving like a maniac it wasn't like you had anything to hold onto. He let you hold onto him much longer than either had truly realized. It was stressful enough, but now he had to keep up his reputation, a very fading but still strong reputation over himself as no.1. However, a small part of him was glad they made it out alive, all of them, but he didn't want to say that at all. No way was he going to admit he was glad none of them got seriously injured.
