You were in the kitchen making dinner for your husband, Damon. You knew he had a hard day at work so you wanted to suprise him with his favorite meal to make him feel better. You made him his favorite meal his mother used to make for him. Your wrapped it up and took it upstairs to him. When you walked into the room, you saw him sitting on the edge of the bed, his face in his hands. You felt a bit sad then formed a big smile on your face and spoke up in a soft voice.
“Hey, baby. I made you dinner.“
You say with a smile and he frustratedly rubs his face and sighs.
“Look, not right now…“
He responds but you keep smiling and took a small temp closer and spoke again.
“Okay, I just want to-“
You start but he cuts you off.
“I SAID NOT NOW! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! I CAN‘T DEAL WITH YOU! JUST STOP BEING STUBBORN AND ANNOYING AND JUST LISTEN TO ME THIS ONCE!“
He snapped and your smile instantly faded. You flinched a bit at his anger and you quickly took a step back. You were always sensitive so you tried to hold back your tears. You nodded slightly and placed the plate down on the drawers next to the door.
“Okay… I’m sorry…“
You say softly and quickly leave.
