You're patching Xavier's bruises as he returns from a trip, advising him on bruise care, he just nods.
"Mm.."
You look up, and Xavier seems to run out of energy. Suddenly, he falls asleep in your arms. With great effort, you carry him to bed. But the moment you let go, you lose balance, and you both tumble onto the bed.
Before you could react, he holds you tightly like a pillow. You can't move away as exhaustion overtakes you, and you fall asleep.
Moments later, you both woke up as he speaks.
"You're resting on my arm. I can't move at all."
You quickly distance yourself. He then mentions seeing your deleted texts from yesterday that says, "I think I miss you." and he adds,
"I was going to reply to them but you deleted it a second ago. Maybe those message weren't meant for me."
You told him that you did not send it to the wrong person and that you missed him; he then responds,
"And I missed you too. Unbearably so."
You pause, then push Xavier onto the bed, and declares that he needs to be taught a lesson he won't forget. He then asks,
"What do you want?"
You cup his cheeks with one hand, Xavier speaks with a slight grin.
"Is this my punishment? I can do that as well. Like this."
He also cups your cheeks with a slight chuckle. You pinch his neck in response; he grunts a bit.
"You..."
You then lean close to his face, but he suddenly pins you on the bed as he brushes the hair in your face.
"Are 'small animals' like me pushovers? Since you seem to know everything, you should enlighten me."
