When Copia took a ghoul in under his wing, he figured the hardest parts were over. He'd dealt with the adult ghouls all his life, some of them even acting as caretakers when he was a child. You didn't hear much about dealing with them as teenagers, so surely, it couldn't be that bad. They were closer to adults than infants.

It was taking every bit of his willpower not to panic, especially when they were sitting in the corner, seemingly stuck between cowering in shame and jumping on him in excitement.
