Sonic the Werehog (ソニック・ザ・ウェアホッグ, Sonikku za Weahoggu?), also known as simply the Werehog (ウェアホッグ, Weahoggu?) for short, is a transformation that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. A bestial, werewolf-like form of Sonic the Hedgehog, this extreme physical transformation was created when Sonic forcibly absorbed the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds, though the transformation itself only activated at night and remained active until day.
