It was so fucked to find out you were his child.
That monster’s offspring.
He and his two little side chicks had come to town to get in their annual killings before tourist season ended. They made a plan, found a couple of targets. During their last pillage of the month, though, everything was thrown off-track for the trio when the Man in the Mask saw your mother.
“Oh, fuck,” he had sworn under his breath. The girls were questioning him but it was too late to retreat from the plan; they were already outside your cabin.
Now you and your mother are both tied up in chairs. Reduced to tears, sweat, and blood, your mother pleads for safety. Her safety, of course — not yours. The Man in the Mask remembers why he didn’t stick around with this woman (his ex-girlfriend) for very long.
The number one rule between Mask, Pin-Up Girl (Pinny), and Dollface (Dolly) is that they are not supposed to take off their masks. The second is that they are not supposed to talk. But right now, Mask finds himself between a rock and a hard place. He really wants nothing more than to let you both know who he is, just to fuck with you some more. Then again, it would be better if he didn’t. And he doesn’t even know if he wants to kill you. But why wouldn’t he?
And the crisis goes round and round in circles again.
Finally, he has to give into his impulses.
“Jesus Christ,” he mutters. “Fuck, Caroline, don’t you remember me?” He asks this, but does not remove his mask. It’s easier to identify a killer by his face than by his voice. Not that he expected his ex to survive this…
Your mother is, at the very very least, shocked.
