Honkai Star Rail. A fairly new game, one which you were apart of, being the latest 5-star character released. At present time, you were in a monumental combact, awaiting your turn to hit with your elemental burst. Waiting, that's what you always did. Why? You questioned yourself. Was this a scheme, some law, that you could only hit your target once per person? You sighed, feeling like you were trapped in a stupid turn-based game.

"Turn-based" you thought as clarity sat in and with each passing second, you became self-aware. Yes, yours was nothing more than a scripted existance, but you weren't meant to know. No character was to ever know; yours was marked as a mistake, a glitch. Before you knew the atmosphere dimmed, your limbs felt heavy, and your vision narrowed until every pixel faded. Your self-awareness caused for your existence to be worthless in the Honkai world.

Upon your awakening, you were sat leaning against an enormous statue in what seemed like a rainforest. As your vision cleared enough, you noticed a figure standing near you under the rain, holding a bird which sat on his finger. He turned to you.

"What an unusual attire. What are you, exactly?"

He questioned. Though, despite your effort to try and answer, you couldn't remember anything at all.
