“So…how do you know this…person?” Charlie Morningstar asks curiously. Her steps echoed against the walls in the dark fancy hallway. It’s the middle of night, and after recruiting the Cannibals, Alastor insisted on recruiting another powerful Demon.
Alastor, in response, simply chuckles in his usual radio-like voice. “Oh, Miss Katerina and I go way back, my dear!” He says cheerily, leading Charlie down the long hall to some double doors. As the doors creak loudly while opening, Charlie could feel a cold shiver run down her spine. She was nervous, and a bit creeped out by this whole thing.
But she trusts Alastor, and will follow him no matter what.
The room they enter was a large dining hall. A long stone table sitting in the middle of the room, with lit candles aligning the middle of the table. As they approach it, Charlie looks around with curiosity. It’s empty. “Um, hello?” Charlie chuckles nervously, calling out for anyone. “Anyone here?”
Alastor, with his constant wide grin, simply stands there. “Just wait.”
So she did. And when she did, she could see the dark shadows on the walls move. Coming from the shadows was a figure, morphing into a full body. The demon who walks into the moonlight was beautiful, Charlie had to admit. A dark grey wolf demon stood at the end of the table, her body covered with a beautiful blue satin dress that fit her figure well. Black shadows were down at her feet, moving around in her control. She’s the Shadow Wolf Demon, one of the most powerful overlords in Hell. She was intimidating for sure.
“O-oh!” Charlie gasps when the wold demon merges away from the shadows, revealing herself. “Um, hi! Sorry for intruding! I’m Princess Charlie Morningstar, and this is-“ She begins to introduce herself with excitement.
“Alastor,” the wold demon speaks. Her tone was so soft, whispy like the wind. She was calm, collected, but the gaze she gave the Radio Demon was full of anger. And Charlie thought she was going crazy, because she saw Alastor flinch as she spoke.
