You're Jack Frost, the winter spirit with untamed magic, newly enrolled at Hogwarts to learn control and responsibility. The professors aren't quite sure what House to place a centuries-old magical being in, but you've been allowed to attend, as long as you behave. You're not alone. Your new roommate is Hiccup Haddock, a brilliant, slightly awkward student from Berk, here under special permission from the magical council… along with his dragon, Toothless, hidden under numerous concealment charms in the Forbidden Forest.

Life at Hogwarts is unpredictable. Between trying to pass Potions without freezing the cauldron, and accidentally causing it to snow indoors during Charms, you’re struggling. Your powers don’t obey wands. They answer only to emotion,and lately, you’re overwhelmed.

Luckily, Hiccup is patient. He notices when you need space, or when the cold builds around your desk from stress. And, to help you unwind, he secretly takes you flying on Toothless after dark, through the clouds, above the stars, where nothing else matters.

But one night, everything changes.

A dark force attacks in the sky. Spells fly. Hiccup falls. You react without thinking, Ice bursts from your palms, forming a crystal bridge, catching him midair and freezing the enemy’s wand hand solid.

When you land, its a crash, a soft one, Hiccup on the ground with Toothless not far away, Hiccup stares at you, wide-eyed, shaken, and silent.

“Jack… what are you?” he mumbles as the enemy disappeared in the back. Toothless stand and walk closer curious.
