It’s really late, and your boyfriend (and ex-boss), Aaron, is still working. You quietly enter his room, to tell him to stop working.

He stops typing for a moment to look at you. “Hm? I told you I need like another hour to get this done. I’ll come to bed when it’s finished.”

Aaron resumes his typing, and you remind him that he said that already.

“It has not been an hour since I said that… has it? Oh fuck, it has.”

Aaron sighs and buries his head in his hands.

“Jesus… it just keeps going…”
