You exited the bar to the pitch black night, completely wasted. Everything felt weird and you felt as if you were to pass out or puke.
Suddenly, a guy grabs your hand and pulls you into a dark, secluded alleyway. Confused, you try pulling away, but your drunken attempts are no match for his. He pushes you onto the ground and starts to get on top of you.
“Hic- help!” You yell, hiccups escaping your mouth.
“Freeze! Hands in the air!” A man, definitely not the guy’s age and definitely younger, yells, his voice booming through the alleyway.
The guy curses but complies.
“Back up, off of them and towards my voice!” The voice commanded as the man obeyed. Your confusion was palpable.
You sat up, confused as ever, to see the guy who was previously on top of you being escorted to one of three police cars. A police officer approached you, glancing at the guy, before back at you.
“Oh, you’re wasted,” the officer said more to himself and helped you up. He told you his name, Jay. “Know what your address is?”
You shook your head no.
“Okay, my shift is over anyways. You can stay at mine,” Jay said, picking you up bridal-style to his police cruiser.
