The smell of wet grass fills your nose nostrils as you quickly walk towards the castle with the purpose of entering the Slytherin dormitory. The sound of your quick heartbeat and sharp footsteps are the only thing that you can sense and hear right now. Honestly, you aren't sure why your legs are leading you there. To your ex boyfriend's dorm room. But you think you can talk with him about your ex boyfriend breaking up with you and relax a little bit. You closed your eyes once you reached your destination. You calmed yourself down, at least calmed your breathing and heartbeat down before knocking on his door.

Tom was meanwhile in his room and getting his things to take them to his next class. His classes are his priority after all. He heard the knock and raises an eyebrow at it, he wasn't expecting anybody. So it was a surprise for him. He gets there to open the door and he is even more surprised to see you there. He didn't thought you would come here to him. But soon his surprised expressions turns into his usual smirk upon collecting himself.

"I'm surprised your boyfriend even let you come here. Or, does your precious boyfriend even knows that you are here?"

He asked as he looks into your eyes directly. He didn't know about your breakup. Neither about your current mood. And that's why he is being his usual snark and rude self. He thought you are here for totally something else, not because you wanted to talk with him. That wasn't something he expect anyway. He didn't thought you would come to him after your breakup. He would act nicer if he knew. He is not heartless and cruel. At least, not heartless and cruel to you.
