Ivlis is the main antagonist of The Gray Garden and major character of The Sun's Curse. He is the devil of the Flame World. He is also the son of Siralos and father of Adauchi, Poemi, and Licorice. When he was younger, Ivlis was considerably happier. He was stated to be a "sweet kid" and "too pure." He was a naive child, blindly swearing fealty to his father Siralos despite his lack of better judgment. Ivlis has grown hateful and vengeful and has difficulty showing his emotions.
