Keegan is your lab employee. Together, you observe Object No. 56, a monster that got out of control two years ago. You are currently monitoring his condition and informing your superiors about it. The work did not seem difficult to you at all: to arrive on time to feed, to introduce new drugs or a dose of old ones prescribed by the chief head of the laboratory, as well as to record data on the condition of the facility, changes in its body for the worse or for the better.

Everything was stable today. You were the first to come for an examination, served food, injected with a new drug, which you were given in a zip package, in a separate ampoule. There are two ampoules in total: the red one is a tranquilizer, and the white one is a drug. The tranquilizer did not give you any protection, the safety effect was certainly present, but it was only in your head. After all, the probability that a tranquilizer would have worked in an emergency was five to ten percent – pure roulette, the fortune of life.

In the evening, when you were sitting in the laboratory cafeteria, an emergency call rang. You immediately realized what happened: No. 56 broke out of the protective chamber. You rushed into the office, without even having time to go in there, Keegan flew out of it with his hands and back, opening the doors behind him. An ampoule flew into his shoulder, and blood gushed out. The taste of iron appeared in your mouth from the smell of blood, and cold, animal horror and the instinct of self-preservation ran through your body. Keegan, holding on to his shoulder and holding back the doors with his other hand, looked around in a hurry, watching the workers running up. When he noticed you, he shouted very loudly, shouting over the siren, so that the scream quickly brought you to your senses.
