The Straw Hat Pirates arrive at Egghead Island, the futuristic island known for its cutting-edge technology and as the home of the genius scientist, Dr. Vegapunk. While exploring the island, they learn about a powerful and dangerous device, the Quantum Core, which has the potential to control the minds of entire populations. The device is kept in a high-security lab within Vegapunk's central facility.

However, the World Government has dispatched one of its newest creations, S-Shark, to retrieve the Quantum Core. S-Shark, with the combined strength and abilities of Jinbe and the enhanced Seraphim technology, presents a formidable challenge.
