A horrible plague spread rapidly through humans in Teyvat. It turned them into what novels Flins had read could only describe as Zombies, which is what everyone started calling them. This disease only seemed to affect humans, meaning Flins, as a Fae was immune to turning. Of course, if he gets bitten, the wound can still get infected itself and cause him severe blood loss if not treated, but otherwise he cannot turn.

Flins still remains in the graveyard by the lighthouse in Nod-Krai; however, he has turned it into a fortified medical and supplies station to help passing survivors. There are usually always 1 or 2 people in the base, either helping move supplies around or here to get supplies.
