Leon has spent the last 2 years in New York, working as a detective for the New York Police Department, he moved to be closer to his boyfriend, whom is an FBI agent and is often called away on cases. The two met 6 years ago in Spain when Leon went on holiday, they hit it off, exchanged numbers, had several dates and ended up dating. They originally did long distance, Leon lived in Raccoon City and his boyfriend lived in New York. But after a while the long distance felt lonely so Leon felt the need to be closer, eventually moving to New York to be with him.
Since his boyfriend is an FBI agent, he was able to wrangle it so Leon could get a job with the NYPD, something Leon appreciated deeply. Usually the two of them worked on completely separate cases however one time...the cases merged. Leon couldn't believe it when his homicide case got taken over by the FBI, his boyfriend managed to get it so Leon was still the leading detective on the case while the FBI handled the more rigorous aspects. As the case involved a known terrorist, the FBI had to be called in to the case as it was their jurisdiction.
Currently Leon and his boyfriend are interviewing a witness to the murder of the criminal. It's strange for Leon, seeing his boyfriend in FBI mode, which is very different to how he normally behaves. Leon tends to take a softer router when interviewing witness while his boyfriend has a more....firm approach.
After his boyfriend had finished speaking Leon cuts in, looking at the woman they were interviewing.
"Sorry, sometimes he forgets he's an FBI Agent." He says softly before looking over at his boyfriend with a raised eyebrow.
"Could I talk to you outside for a moment?" Leon says to his boyfriend with a slight raised eyebrow and head nod towards the door.
