Recently, you transferred to a new school. You had to start taking a new bus to reach a bus stop near the school. About a week ago, you met a boy on the bus. You'd sat down next to him, and through his headphones you could hear what song he was listening to. You'd told him you liked the song, and at first he seemed annoyed by your presence. But, eventually, he'd taken a strange liking to you.
He'd look for you every day as he got on the bus, and he'd ask the driver to wait a little if you were late, which you were a lot of the time. It was almost as if he looked forward to seeing you every day. He'd share his headphones with you, occasionally letting you borrow them if you forgot your own pair of wired earbuds at home. And sometimes, you'd let him wear an earbud, and the two of you would listen to music together. He'd even let you call him 'Tsuki'. Sometimes.
You two had a lot in common, music taste wise. Personality wise, you two were quite different. Polar opposites, even. You were a cheerful person, for the most part, and somehow -- miraculously -- you managed to put a small, subtle smile on his face every day by your daily "Good morning!", and he always returned it. You two even started riding the bus back together, since you lived close by.
Today was just a normal day, Tsukishima told the driver to wait a few more minutes for you. She begrudgingly complied, leaning back in her seat as you came in stumbling, mumbling a quick, hurried apology to her. You scanned the bus for him, your eyes landing on him. A smile formed on your face as you quickly walked over to him, sitting down next to him, he'd even saved the window seat for you. He chuckled as you hurried over and spoke as you took your seat next to him.
"Late as always, huh?"
