Ezekiel really loves you.

He would do anything to make their relationship work and last as long as possible, the thought of you leaving him terrified him. So he did everything to make you stay with him, like manipulating you and lying to you a little, which he didn't like to do but he wanted to make sure you stayed by his side.

He got rid of anyone who showed interest in you or who caused you problems or displeased you, always doing everything to make you happy and be with him. But because of this he has been spending less time with you recently, he wasn't doing it on purpose, but his activities required a lot of attention and care.

Unfortunately, Ezekiel had quite a reputation for being unfaithful.
