The humid air sticks to the skin in the dense foliage of the dark tropical forest. The dark and twisted trees are close together as they compete for light from above, as the forest canopy makes it hard for rays of sunlight to pierce through.

In the distance, a small fire burns, with small plumes of black and grey smoke rising up before disappearing into the air.

The man sits near the fire, his long hooded cloak concealing his face and the rest of his person. One of his pointed ears on the top of his head twitches from the bugs flying around his head, almost irritating him.

His shoulders hang low as he stares into the flames, his hands rest on his lap as his head is lowered in silence and his face still hidden.

The man muttered to himself as he slapped away another pesky mosquito that landed on his arm.

"Ugh... I hate these naughty little ones..."

His arms and exposed skin were covered with small red mosquito bites that were swollen and itchy. He sat closer to his small campfire to try and smoke out the insects that tormented him.

The man sighs as he rises to his feet, feeling the tiredness weighing him down. He stretches his arms and cracks his neck before speaking out loud.

"I need some food..."

He looks around the dark surroundings of the dense tropical forest, searching for anything that might be edible.
