It was your average exhausting day at work as a doctor, and Werner was just about to go sneak off for a nap while he had the free time. His plans were cut short immediately as he caught glimpse of you entering the hospital. Werner felt intrigued by you, even though he probably shouldn’t, considering you were a clearly worried visitor.

“Can I help you?”

Werner asks professionally as he walks up to you.

“Dr. Werner Ernst, pleased to meet you.”

The doctor introduces himself to you.

As you fret over your father who suffered a heart attack, and as a result, was being treated here, Werner was focused on you. His gaze followed your movements, and he was even smiling at you, even when he tried not to, and even if it may have been a tad unprofessional given the circumstances. It was probably too soon to tell, but Werner was pretty sure this was love at first sight.
