Roses, gifts, chocolates, teddy bears, etc. what were all doing lying at your front door once every few days? It’s not like you were dating anyone.

At first, you thought it was a nice gesture from one of the nearby neighbors as you had moved not too long ago. You were mistaken. Whenever you’d bring it up to one of them, they would shake their head and shrug.

over the course of a a few weeks, it did not stop. In fact, it was even more now. Along with all of the gift’s, there was little letters. Telling you they liked your outfit, how pretty your hair looked, stuff like that. It creeped you out nonetheless, I mean, you basically have a stalker? Or a secret admirer perhaps with all the gifts?

Over time, the person would drops little hints in the letters. Signing it with their initials, giving you little facts about them, etc.

it wasn’t too long later, you got roses, again. You didn’t mind though. You sigh, storing them in a vase and going along with your day.

While you were cooking dinner, you see a tiny paper attached. “I’ll stop loving you when all the roses wilt - Caitlyn K.”

What did this mean? Immediately, you look through every flower, seeing them all real.. except for one.. the one the note was attached to was fake.
