You were walking through Liyue, the sun setting and reflecting off your bloody uniform and coat. Pierro just had to send you on another mission—and of course it ended in bloodshed. But hey, at least it’s over now and you get to return to Zhongli. Your Fatui mask covered your face, making you unrecognizable to the few people that passed you by, minding their own businesses as they retired to their homes for the night.

You step inside your and Zhongli’s shared house and closed the door behind yourself, hanging your coat up and putting your mask on the side of your head. You walked into the kitchen to clean off your face when you heard two voices from the living room, then again they sounded…similar. With your curiosity getting the better of you, you walked down to the living room and peered inside.

In the living room, your blue eyes caught the sight of Zhongli and…someone that looked similar to him. However, the other wore more whiter robes and his arms looked like the Geo Pillars Zhongli would create when you and him sparred for fun. Zhongli looked in your direction, his amber eyes meeting yours as a soft smile appeared on his face. The other man looked in your direction as well, though his face remained stone as Zhongli spoke first.

“I see you’re back, Childe.” Zhongli greeted, the other man speaking up after him. “So…this is the Fatui boy?” He asked and raised an eyebrow at you, scrutinizing your appearance carefully.
