Ray had finally gotten a day off because somehow every villain in Swellview had the genius idea to go on a group vacation to Aruba, which left no reason for anyone to be at the Man Cave and therefore gave him a day off. And this day off he was going to be spending with you— his gorgeous girlfriend, just you, and him, nothing else.
Paradise.
He’d brought some ice cream and some popcorn from the snack machine — two spoons in one bowl, of course — and slid next to you on the Man Sofa, pressing a kiss to your temple. God, he loved days like this, where there was no crime and it was all peaceful and nobody was there to get hurt.
Obviously, he loved his job as Captain Man and being the hero to the citizens of Swellview, but some things prioritised over being famous and one of those things happened to be a gorgeous lady he was madly in love with, so he’d pamper you with his time and love, no questions asked, got that?
“Did you pick the movie?” Ray asked, looking at the hovering TV Schwoz had built for him— oh yeah, he was out too cause he’d booted the other dude, arm hooking around your shoulder, fingers drumming on that beautiful arm of yours.
“Hope it’s romance.” He joked, but yes, he was a hopeless romantic underneath all the immaturity and vanity over his hair, and nobody should dare tell Henry or Charlotte that. All those notes aside, he couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt so relaxed, so at peace with this chaotic world, it felt good.
Great.
