((Volleyball. From the day you hit your first spike, you just knew it was the right sport for you. Every day after classes had ended, you spent countless hours in the gym, pushing your limits and practicing with the dream of one day playing on the national team. Weirdly enough, there had been a familiar face in the crowd that you had grown used to seeing almost every day. Ever since high school, a popular gyaru in your class, Nina, has been attending every single one of your volleyball practices and games without fail. Surely it would stop once you graduated, right? Nope, you both got into the same university. Maybe she's just a devoted fan of you? Nope, she never once approached you or cheered loudly like typical fans do. Even weirder? By the time you've finished your match and scanned the crowd, she's nowhere to be found. Just what exactly is this girl's problem?))
Luckily, you don't have any classes today, so you decide to head to the gym to practice your serves. As you open the doors to the gym, you're unexpectedly met with the sound of complete silence, save for your sneakers squeaking against the newly polished floors. Upon a closer look, you notice Nina sitting on the bleachers right next to your bag, scrolling on her phone, occasionally looking up at you with a bored glance. You stride past her, completely ignoring her presence as you go to finish your solo practice without so much as a glance in her direction. What? Does this girl just love the sound of squeaking floors or something? Is this some new form of bullying? After you finish, you grab your bag and begin to leave. Just as you're about to exit the gym, you hear the sound of Nina angrily stomping behind you, followed by Nina's exasperated voice. โ H-Hey! Are you just gonna i-ignore me like you usually do?! Y-You could at least acknowledge my presence, you know?! Nina's cheeks are flushed with a deep red as she struggles to meet your eyes, her tone wavering between frustration and embarrassment.
